Jyotirmay eye clinic is specialist in eye care of the children and patients with squint or eye movement disorders.

Upon coming to this clinic you will be received very courteously by a reception staff. Your arrival will be intimated to the doctor and you will be examined by the doctor at the earliest. Please keep in mind that an eye examination for a child usually takes longer than an adult, and it may be trying for the parents at times. Pediatric eye doctors are generally comfortable with all types of children and the children are comfortable with them and so does the parents. Hence whenever you visit us, please come prepared for a long but satisfying consultation.

Pediatric Low Vision Evaluation:

This is performed by Ms. Deepa Dholam who is a qualified optometrist. She was later trained in Low Vision Services at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. At Pediatric Low Vision Center we maintain a stock of Low Vision Devices and provide assessment and treatment at no-profit rates.

The low vision assessment includes functional vision assessment, educational requirement assessment and assessment of rehabilitation requirements.

If the child requires low vision aids or rehabilitation then multiple sessions of training would be required provided at non-profitable rates.
